Save to PDF
All documents you have sent to the ATO are stored in
the Sent Items. The Save to PDF function allows you to generate
electronic copies of documents in a PDF file format. These electronic
copies look the same as the printed copies when viewed in Adobe Acrobat
(or similar software that allows viewing of PDF file types) and also contains
your ATO allocated receipt number.
To save a document to PDF, perform the following steps:
- Click on the document in Sent Items to select it.

- Click on the Save to PDF button. The
Save to PDF dialog box is displayed.

- Select the location to save the file and enter
a name in the 'File name' field which the document will be saved as.
A default file name of DIN.pdf is given (where DIN is the Document Identification
Number).
- Click the Save button.
- The selected document is saved to the specified directory as a PDF file.

- Click OK on the Information Message informing
that the file has been successfully saved to the specified directory.
